Applying for Financial Aid
Woodland Hill is committed to serving families of diverse socio-economic backgrounds through a growing financial aid program and affordable tuition. The amount of financial aid is dependent upon demonstrated financial need and available financial aid funds. An application for admission to Woodland Hill must be completed and submitted to the WHMS Admissions Office before you apply for financial aid.
Step 1: Notify the School
Woodland Hill encourages all families who might need financial aid to indicate this on their application for admission. As you complete your family information portion of the online application please select “yes” when asked this question. Families selecting “yes” will need to complete a separate financial aid application which can be found on FACTS website.
Step 2: Apply for Financial Aid Online
The deadline for completing the application is February 16th for families. All required documents should be uploaded directly to the FACTS website. The Admissions Office cannot fax or upload on behalf of the applicant.
Timeline for Financial Aid
Families are expected to adhere to the following deadlines:
February 16th: Submit Financial Aid Application through FACTS
It is important that the financial aid application be filled out completely and that any explanations necessary are given as there is ample room to do so. The information received is supplemented and verified by information contained on the required federal income tax returns. In keeping with the NAIS Principles of Good Practice for Financial Aid, the School considers tuition the responsibility of both parents. If divorced or separated and filing separate tax returns, each parent must submit a separate application.
- 2023 W2 Statements
- Completed and signed 2021 and 2022 Federal Tax returns
- Tuition statement for additional children at tuition-paying institutions. (if applicable)
March 8th: Submit Financial Aid Application through FACTS
The Financial Aid Committee will communicate financial aid decisions to new families receiving an award.
April 15th: 2023 Tax Returns are due
On or before this date, families must upload 2023 tax returns to finalize financial aid award.
