Crafty Crew

Monday

Unleash your imagination in our hands-on extra! From painting to crafting, kids can explore colors, textures, and materials to make their own unique masterpieces. Every project is a chance to create, experiment, and have fun while building artistic skills!

El Club De Español

Mondays

This class is for the little language sponges in the Primary Program to immerse themselves in more fun filled Spanish Instruction. They will learn songs, games and build their knowledge each week with repetition and connection to language.

Autumn Adventures

Wednesday

Celebrate the season in our Fun Fall Extra! Dive into autumn with activities like pumpkin decorating, leaf art, and a festive fall scavenger hunt. Embrace the cozy vibes with creative crafts, outdoor games, and seasonal treats that capture the magic of fall!

African Drumming

John Dickson leads this popular WHMS African drumming group. Beginners and experienced drummers alike benefit from the multi-age and ability group. African drums are provided by John or you are welcome to bring your own!

Bounce & Balance

Jump, run, stretch, and play! Each day brings a new adventure—sometimes high-energy fun, sometimes calming zen time. Whatever your body needs, this class builds strength, balance, and happy vibes!

Friday

Ages 3-4

Introduces young children to the sport of basketball through fun, engaging activities. With a focus on developing balance, coordination, and fine motor skills, each child begins building the foundation to grow as a basketball player.Parents are encouraged to attend and actively participate in activities led by Coach Marc Bobb Semple.

Kids Can Build

Monday | 6-8 Grade

KCB is a community event that raises awareness about hunger, where teams of middle school students compete to design and build giant structures made out of full cans of food. The sculptures will be exhibited at the Crossgates Mall and the cans of food will be donated to the Shalom Food Pantry. Students in 6-8 grade are welcome to join the WHMS team!

Dungeons and Dragons

Explore the world of D&D through this club. Players will be grouped in adventuring teams and will be embarking on various quests!

Basketball Club

This club introduces young players to the basics of basketball through exciting games and drills. Perfect for building teamwork, coordination, and a love for the game in a supportive and energetic environment

World In Focus

How do we see and hear the world? From storyboard to screen, we will learn media production skills and create our own techniques to tell stories about the world, and how it looks and sounds to us!
