Biography
Stephanie Carty joined the WHMS faculty in 2022 teaching middle school math. She holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Hartwick College and a master's degree in Education from The College of Saint Rose. She is professionally certified in the State of New York in adolescent mathematics education 7-12, and is currently completing coursework with the Cincinnati Montessori Secondary Teacher Education Program to earn a teaching credential in Montessori education. Stephanie has been teaching middle and high school math and computer science in the Capital District since 2014; she has also worked with NERIC (Capital Region BOCES) as an Educational Technology Training Specialist, and was the lead coordinator for NERIC's esports service.
